First, you need to know that deactivating your account is not the same as permanently deleting it. Deactivating is like taking a temporary break from Facebook.


Step 1: Go to Facebook & login your account.

Step 2: Then click the little upside triangle arrow at the top right and go to Account Settings. Step 3: In Account Settings select Security tab and now you can see Deactivate your account click on it. Step 4: After clicking Deactivate your account, you will get Deactivate page of Facebook. Fill the Following details and click CONFIRM. Now your Facebook account is Deactivated. Your profile will be not shown in any of your friends or any people. You are reactivate the account by simply login your Facebook account.
